Your future role at a glance
• Location: Nashville, TN
• Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas West
• Department: Diagnostic Cardiology
• Schedule: PRN | Rotating Shift

How you’ll make an impact in this role
• Execute precise cardiac testing by expertly placing electrodes and operating EKG equipment to capture the high-quality readings essential for diagnosing heart conditions.
• Empower patients through the testing process by reviewing their medical history and providing clear education, ensuring they are prepared and comfortable during the procedure.
• Monitor patient well-being in real-time, acting as a critical observer who recognizes and reports abnormal cardiac findings immediately to the nursing and medical teams.
• Deliver accurate diagnostic data by identifying and correcting image interference and technical artifacts, ensuring the attending physician receives clear, reliable results for interpretation.

What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.

Education:
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
