Education Instructor- RN (NICU)

Job description

• JOB SUMMARY
• Plans; organizes; directs; controls; and evaluates the educational programs for appropriate nursing unit cluster; including community; orientation; and in-service for professional development. Assists in developing programs to meet the Joint Commission standard requirements for education. Participates in direct nursing care.
• JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing unless otherwise approved by the Director
• Minimum Work Experience
• 2 years in hospital clinical setting
• Women and Children (Mother/Baby; Perinatal and Neonatal ICU)
• Required Licenses/Certifications
• (Please note American Heart Association Instructor certification identifies the employee as both an Instructor and Provider).
