Job description

Performs various echocardiography studies on patients under the direction of a Cardiologist, Manager, Assistant Manager and/or Lead Technologist. Gathers and documents appropriate data and reports critical findings to appropriate physicians. Maintains certification/registration with approved credentialing agencies. Conducts various types of echocardiograms including 2-D, 3-D, m-mode, doppler, color doppler, strain and stress echo. Prepares and instructs the patient, performs the study to obtain maximum quality results, cleans and maintains proper functioning of equipment, enters patient data in computer systems.
Education
Trade School formal training from ultrasound school with cardiovascular program Required
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience
1 year experience in Echocardiography Preferred
Licenses
Reg Cardiac Sonographer Required or
Reg Diag Cardiac Sonographer Required
