Job Summary:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Drug Diversion Program Specialist supports system-wide efforts to prevent, detect and respond to drug diversion while promoting safe, compliant controlled substance practices across ProMedica. You will collaborate with leaders, clinicians and operational teams to monitor diversion risks, analyze data and advance initiatives that strengthen regulatory compliance and patient safety.
You will play a key role in diversion prevention, education, monitoring, investigation and reporting activities. As a subject matter expert, you will identify improvement opportunities related to controlled substance management and help strengthen the Drug Diversion Prevention, Detection and Response Program while reducing risk and promoting accountability throughout the organization.

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field.
• Knowledge and understanding of medication dispensing technology (e.g., ADC).
• 5 years in a clinical practice role.
• Current RN nursing license in OH and/or MI.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
• Master’s degree in related field.
• Leadership skills, experience in teaching and process improvement.
• 10 years in a clinical setting with some leadership experience.
