Dishwasher - Cafeteria

Job description
This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary dishwashing area. Duties include properly operating and monitoring the dish machine, following all safety and sanitation standards, and promptly reporting equipment issues to the Manager or Director of Nutrition Services.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: Thorough understanding of HACCP processes required; Understanding of FIFO (First In, First Out) practice required. Must be able to read and write to interpret instructions. Assembly work and/or food service work experience is preferred. The knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety can be acquired with at least 3 months of on the job training.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma, GED or HiSET equivalent preferred. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Able to follow instructions.
