Job Description
Responsible for managing the FP&A and accounting activities for the UA Health Services Foundation(HSF), including budget oversight, financial stewardship, financial initiative oversight, and other financial planning and analysis duties. Prepares standard and ad hoc reports as requested, and directs the annual budget process and any other special projects as assigned.
Key Duties and Responsibilites
• Responsible for monthly financial statement review and analysis and annual budget preparation.
• Responsible for driving finance initiatives and monthly tracking towards goals along with assistance in identification of initiatives.
• Responsible for stewardship communications and investigation into trends.
• Designs and utilizes forecast models for annual budgets and interim financial reviews.
• Performs routine and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Serves as a financial liaison on planning committees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or a related field and seven (7) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
