Make a Difference
The Director of Nursing will oversee Med/Surg, Ortho/Neuro/Spine, and Telemetry at our new state-of-the-art hospital in Westfield. The Director will have emphasis on the strategic planning and business development, clinical outcomes, quality management and excellence in customer service. This position provides the leadership and direction to develop, recommend and implement programs, policies, procedures, and standards. The position reports to the VP of Nursing/Chief Nursing Executive of the hospital.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Applicants for this position should demonstrate effective communication skills with all levels of the organization verbally, in writing, and through technology such as dashboards and PowerPoint presentations.
• Bachelor's Degree Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited school of nursing is required.
• Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
• Either the Bachelor’s or Master’s must be in nursing.
• Three (3) or more years of progressive management / leadership experience required.
• Five (5) or more years of nursing experience required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as
• listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) required.
• Certification in relevant specialty or nursing administration required within three (3) years of hire.
• Collaborates and builds effective relationships.
• Demonstrates strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Independently resolve problems, plan strategically, and think creatively and critically.
• Knowledge of best practices, processes laws, regulations, tools, and software with the subject matter of the position.
• Strong Analytical skills.
• Able to build, motivate, and lead high performing team.
