What We Offer
This individual works under the supervision of Food and Nutrition Management. Responsible for providing remarkable care assisting in building patient meal trays, executes delivery to patient rooms ensuring proper trays are delivered to correct patients. Cleans and organizes patient meal service tray line. Helps with daily pick-ups of soiled trays on floors. Participates in department performance improvement activities.
What You'll Do
Monitors sanitation and safety of work areas and equipment for compliance with health department regulations and fire codes.
Monitors adherence to department and NHRMC policies and procedures.
Encourages others to “think out of the box” and take calculated risks.
Makes decisions with conviction and learns from mistakes.
Ensures that the operation meets the company average customer service score from the QSC audit.
Fosters a culture of “total customer experience”.
Consistently delivers a high level of service and hospitality to our customers.
Maintains an active presence throughout the business.
Seeks and receives customer feedback.
Prepares tray tickets, nourishments, meeting or exceeding patient’s needs. Retrieves patient trays following each meal period and return for ware washing.
Shows commitment to training at all levels – creates a teaching and learning culture.
Creates an environment of trust and credibility.
Uses systematic methods and procedures to accomplish sales and profit goals.
Ensures that the operation is maintained according to Company standard.
Identifies and quantifies specific areas of opportunity.
Adheres to Company’s policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience (Preferred): Two-four years of food service experience, preferably in a health care setting.
Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence.
