Job Requirements
Carilion Clinic is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible, fellowship-trained Diagnostic Radiologists to join a collegial, highly subspecialized radiology team at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital , a 763-bed tertiary referral and academic medical center, Virginia State-designated Level I Trauma Center, and primary teaching hospital for the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine .

About the Department
Carilion Clinic Radiology includes 39 radiologists with extensive fellowship expertise in:
• Neuroradiology
• Body Imaging
• Chest
• Musculoskeletal Imaging
• MRI
• Molecular/Nuclear Medicine
• Pediatric Radiology
• Women's Imaging
• Interventional Radiology

This position offers a balanced mix of subspecialty body imaging and general diagnostic radiology within a busy and clinically diverse practice environment, including coverage for a Level 1 Trauma Center and a thrombectomy-capable Stroke Center
The department supports a growing, integrated healthcare system consisting of:
• 7 hospitals
• 840+ physicians
• 500+ APP’s
• 85+ specialties
• 30 ACGME-accredited training programs

Carilion Clinic continues to invest heavily in the future of healthcare delivery across the region, including:
• $400 Million Cardiovascular Institute Expansion Tower

Opened July 2025 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital
• $100 Million Cancer Center

Currently under construction with planned opening January 2028

The posted salary range may not reflect the full value of the total compensation package. You are eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary. Historical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salary. In addition, comprehensive benefits and pension offerings further enhance the overall rewards package.
