CT Technologist

Job description

Reporting to the Manager or Director of Imaging, perform computerized tomography scans of patients of all ages following established protocols and procedures. Scans head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis and musculoskeletal areas. Evaluates images for diagnostic quality and practice ALARA to minimize radiation exposure to patients.

Required Qualifications:
• Coursework/Training: Successfully completed a program in Radiological Technology.
• Coursework/Training: Successfully completed training in Computer Assisted Tomography or 2 years of CT experience in an acute care setting.
• Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography.
• California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.
