Program Goal
The Nursing Fellowship Program aims to:
• Equip JHS nurses with the knowledge, confidence, and hands-on experience needed to transition into critical care practice
• Strengthen our internal talent pipeline by investing in nurses who are committed to growing within the organization
• Support our facilities with highly trained, mission-driven critical care nurses who understand the JHS culture and standards of excellence

Program Logistics
• Eligibility: Open to current JHS nurses seeking to transition into critical care
• Placement: Opportunities available across multiple JHS facilities
• Selection Process:
• Spots are limited.
• Requires at least one year of staff nurse experience at Jackson Health System.
• Interested employees are required to officially apply during the posting period
• Each facility will conduct their interview & selection process
• Applicants will be evaluated based on readiness, performance, and alignment with critical care competencies.
• Program begins on November 23. Selected fellows will participate in a structured development experience that includes clinical immersion, mentorship, and guided skill-building tailored to critical care environments.
