Job description

JOB TITLE : Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
REPORTS TO : Manager/Director of Medical/Surgical Inpatient Services
POSITION SUMMARY : Under the direction of a licensed nurse, assists patients in meeting self-care and daily needs. Performs all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE : High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Graduate of a Nursing Assistance Program preferred and a minimum of one year of nursing assistant experience in a medical/surgical setting is preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS : Possession of a current California Nurses Assistant Certification and a current BLS certification.
