Kimball Health Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable Night Shift Certified Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of licensed nursing staff while helping create a safe, comfortable, and positive patient experience.
Position Summary
The CNA assists patients with daily living activities, monitors and reports patient conditions, obtains vital signs, supports patient safety initiatives, and helps maintain a clean and organized care environment. This position plays an important role in delivering quality care to patients across our organization.
Essential Job Duties
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Obtain and document vital signs and other basic patient information.
• Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Maintain patient rooms and ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Support nursing staff with routine clinical and unit activities.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all safety and infection-control standards.

Requirements
Qualifications
• Current Nebraska Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required, or equivalent nursing assistant experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and accurately document patient care.
• Ability to provide compassionate care while working effectively as part of a healthcare team.

Physical Requirements
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist with patient mobility.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in a healthcare environment with exposure to infectious diseases and other hospital-related hazards.
