JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Application Analyst I act as a liaison between clinical end users and implementation teams to ensure the successful adoption and optimization of EMR systems and related healthcare applications. This role focuses on training; workflow enhancement; and technical support to improve efficiency and quality of care delivery. The position involves data collection; workflow analysis; system configuration; testing; and support. Additionally; the analyst participates in application deployment and procedure documentation; ensuring that software builds meet organizational goals and external mandates such as HIPAA and Meaningful use.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
• High School

Minimum Work Experience
• 1-3 years in a healthcare setting

Required Licenses/Certifications
Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities
• Ability to present educational information to individual and/or small groups in a professional manner.
• Knowledge of EMR software applications
• Knowledge of Windows system level operation
• Prior experience in product development for healthcare strongly preferred
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Strong background in Microsoft Excel; Word and Outlook
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize; meet deadlines; and manage changing priorities
• Proven ability to be flexible and work hard; both independently and in a team environment; in a high pressure on-call environment with changing priorities
• Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills
