Job description

The Clinic RN Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of patients in the specific oncology department. The ability to retrieve, communicate or otherwise present information in a written, auditory or visual fashion is essential. The Clinic RN nurse is responsible for patient education, physical assessment, nutrition counseling and assisting physicians with exams and procedures.
Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM Friday

Required Qualifications:
• Coursework/Training Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing
• Coursework/Training Upon hire, ALS will need to be obtained within orientation period and maintained on a quarterly basis thereafter.
• Coursework/Training Upon hire, ongoing oncology education; 12 cancer-related CE credits per year or OCN certification
• Upon hire: Texas Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing
• 1 year Oncology experience.
