Schedule: Monday-Friday, Days, Full-Time - No weekends or holidays!
Job Overview
The Clinical Practice RN (Registered Nurse) III is responsible for providing direct or indirect care according to the applicable state Nurse Practice Act to patients who present with urgent, emergent or potential health problems as well as preventive care. Services provided by the Clinical Practice RN will include, but are not limited to, general patient care, assistance with procedures, documentation of activities, patient/family education, program development, and case management functions. The Clinical Practice RN will provide care utilizing established principles and ethical standards as well as policies and procedures established by Deaconess.
Clinical Practice RN III must be able to demonstrate knowledge of growth and development to provide patient care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Clinical Practice RN III must be able to successfully demonstrate the staff requirements as specified in the department’s competencies and Scope of Service (if applicable), and meet/exceed standards as identified below and meet the requirements of the applicable state Nurse Practice Act.
Education and Experience
• Graduate from an accredited RN school of nursing.
• Experience preferred but not required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• Current state appropriate licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR provider certification required.
