JOB SUMMARY
• Performs all required procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab at a high level and operates specialized equipment including; but not limited to; the computer system; hemodynamic monitoring and have working knowledge of cardiac catheterization lab. Promotes teamwork in the department and maintains positive communication skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum Education
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an appropriate accredited program or health science degree preferred
• Minimum Work Experience
• LVN; RCVT; EMT-P; ARRT; CST; or 5 years consecutive cath lab experience
• Required Licenses/Certifications
• BLS upon completion of orientation or after one month of hire
• ACLS within 90 days of hire
• Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities
• Answer telephones
• Input data into computer programs
• Compile statistics
• Maintain patient charts
• Previous diagnostic experience
• Generate reports
• Working knowledge of viewing equipment
• Working knowledge of hemodynamic equipment and able to problem solve basic error messages
• Working knowledge of sterile procedures
• Must be operational in 2 positions within 1 year of hire
