Join MercyOne's 5 South Team as a Charge Nurse!
5 South is a 40-bed Medical/Surgical unit that cares for acutely ill adult patients with a wide range of conditions, including:
• Urology
• Nephrology
• Trauma
• Colorectal Surgery
• General Medical Conditions

This fast-paced, collaborative unit offers nurses the opportunity to build a strong clinical foundation while gaining experience across multiple specialties. Our team partners with Virtual Nursing to provide innovative, patient-centered care and support bedside nurses.

What You'll Do
As a Registered Nurse, you will:
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care
• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Promote patient safety and quality outcomes
• Mentor and support fellow nursing colleagues
• Contribute to a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Iowa RN license (or Illinois RN license if applicable)
• BLS required within 3 months of hire
• ACLS required within 3 months of hire
• BSN preferred
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and patient-centered care

Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus + Relocation Assistance Available

• 0-1 year RN experience: $10,000
• 1-3 years RN experience: $15,000
