Certified Patient Care Tech - MedSurg
The Patient Care Technician assists patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures delegated and communicated by the licensed nurse. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused care.

Please note the following important details regarding this position:
• This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled.
• This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below:
• Texas: Lubbock
• Flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on departmental needs and operational requirements.
• Work Status Available:
• Full time
• Shift Available:
• Day
• Shifts Hours:
• Shift length: 12 hours
• 7am - 7pm or 5:30am - 5:30pm; weekends and holidays as needed.

Required Qualifications:
• Coursework/Training: Combined equivalent experience and certification needed for function and level, or current graduate of state approved PCT program (CPCT).
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Association for Health Professionals, or
• Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Center for Competency Testing, or
• Upon hire: National Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant - National Healthcareer Association

Preferred Qualifications:
• H.S. Diploma or GED
• 6 months PCT experience in an acute care setting.
• 6 months Phlebotomy experience.
