CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA) PAY RATE: $18.16 - $24.52 (+ $3.00 SHIFT DIFF WHEN APPLICABLE)
STUDENT NURSING ASSISTANT (SNA)/PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT (PCA) PAY RATE: $16.45 - $22.21 (+ $2.00 SHIFT DIFF WHEN APPLICABLE

JOB SUMMARY
The Unit is a General Medical/Surgical unit with a variety of patient conditions/diagnoses, including but not limited to COPD, pneumonia, diabetes, cellulitis, acute and chronic kidney disease, etc. Nurses are trained to care for the hospital peritoneal dialysis (PD) population. 3 General Medicine is also the back-up for surgical overflow for abdominal, genitourinary, wound debridement, and other general surgeries.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent; or, be of at least 16 years of age with an active C.N.A. certification.
• Good verbal communication skills
• Must be one of the following: (N/A for PCA,SNA or PCT)
• C.N.A
• PCA, SNA- Must have completed one of the following:
• Patient Care Experience
• Completed a C.N.A. Program
• Completed at least sophomore year of a nursing program

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification in good standing on the state Nurse Aide Registry. (N/A for PCA's,SNA's or PCT)

PAY STATUS
• Non-exempt hourly
