The Frye Regional Neurology team addresses a broad spectrum of neurological issues, including:
• Movement disorders (e.g., Parkinson’s disease, tremor)
• Seizures and epilepsy
• Stroke and transient ischemic attacks (TIAs)
• Sleep disorders (sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome)
• Dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other cognitive disorders
• Multiple sclerosis and other neuroimmunology conditions
• Neuromuscular disorders, nerve conduction studies, and EMG testing

How you’ll contribute
A Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA I), who excels in this role:
• Monitor vital signs/blood sugars
• Assists patients with activities of daily living; Document and report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition
• Measure and document input/output and weights
• Assist nurse as needed
• Answer call lights
• Assist with patient admission, transfer and discharge
• Provide care appropriate to the condition/age of the patient
• Distribute drinks and/or snacks
• Maintain clean and neat patient room and work environment.
• All other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for- a compassionate nursing assistant with a understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring.
Applicants should have a current state NA I license and completed NA course from an accredited school. Additional requirements include:
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred
