Certified Audio Assistant and Medical Assistant (CMA) - Carrollton/Bremen ENT (Days)

Job description

Responsible for rendering clinical care within the medical practice in support of and as directed by the physician. Response for performing hearing testing for all ages as ordered by the providers in a timely manner. Will also have general responsibilities to assist in the day-to-day operation of this office to ensure quality patient care. Clinical care will include patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Required Knowledge & Skills
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Three months of related experience
Licenses and Certifications
CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
*HEALTHCARE PROVIDER (CPR)
Qualifications
*Will accept the following certifications CMA (AAMA), CCMA (NHA), RMA (AMT), NCMA (NCCT), or CMAC (AMCA).
*Certification through CPOP course by AAO-HNS strongly preferred or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire date.
*Six months experience preferred.
*Must possess the sense of discipline to work in accordance with accepted clinical standards.
*Must possess the cognitive ability to understand patients' medical records, physicians orders and medical orders to be communicated to patient, hospital, and or other physician.
*Must be capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees, and physicians.
*Prior experience of performing x-rays and EKG preferred.
