• On-Call: Yes, appx 1.5 weeks/month

What You’ll Do
The Certified Surgical Scrub Technician/First Assist (CST/FA) plays a vital role in delivering patient care by applying specialized surgical skills under the direct supervision of the surgeon. This individual works collaboratively with the surgical team, physicians, and the patient/family to support optimal patient outcomes.
The CST/FA has access to confidential patient information and participates in clinical decision-making as part of a multidisciplinary team. While performing duties in the surgical setting, the CST/FA operates under the direct supervision of the attending physician and works under the general supervision of the Clinical Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required Educational Degree: Graduate of an Accredited Program in Surgical Technology
Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: Current certification as a Certified First Assist (CFA or CSA). Current CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/BLS - Basic Life Support certification. Certification in First Assisting. De-escalation training within 6 months.
Preferred Experience: 3-5 years surgical technician experience
