Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating heart and blood vessel conditions. You will perform non-invasive and/or invasive diagnostic procedures, including EKGs, stress tests, and catheterization support.
Job Details
Key Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic tests such as ECG/EKG, Holter monitoring, and stress testing
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and angioplasty procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs before, during, and after procedures
• Operate and maintain cardiovascular equipment
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and safety
• Maintain accurate patient records and test results

Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiological, Cardiovascular and/or Respiratory care program
• Experience with scrubbing into and assisting physicians with vascular procedures
• RVT or equivalent preferred, registry eligible acceptable.
• BLS/AED/ACLS training required and accepted from the American Heart Association. No online programs from any organization will be accepted.

Skills, Knowledge or Abilities
• Independent individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills required in order to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, physicians, outside agencies and other hospital staff.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• Strong computer skills a must.
• Knowledge of EPIC Electronic Medical Record, radiology scheduling and insurance authorization.

Salary Range
USD $49.91 - USD $57.74 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
