Responsibilities
The Monitor Technician is responsible for the ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry and provides RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
• One (1) year of experience as a Monitor Technician
• Successful completion of a Basic Arrhythmia course or equivalent coursework with a passing score

OR
Successful completion of an arrhythmia identification exam with a passing score
OR
Successful completion of the Monitor Technician Residency
• Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) from a Northside approved resuscitation certifying body.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units

PREFERRED
• CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician) Certification through CCI.

Work Hours:
7PM - 7AM
