Job Summary
The Capital Buyer/Systems Specialist is responsible for procurement of all operational and routine capital purchases of furniture and equipment system-wide. This position provides support for all non-routine, non-standard furniture and equipment quotes and purchases across the system. Additionally, this role is responsible for all operational procurement software systems.
Required Qualifications
• Require three (3) years of business experience or equivalent work experience directly related to purchasing, project coordination, product research, customer service, supply chain, preferably in healthcare field.

Preferred Qualifications
• Prefer proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Prefer demonstrated functional knowledge of supply chain systems and processes, preferably PeopleSoft knowledge.
• Prefer proficiency in project and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize a variety of duties.
• Prefer proficiency in the advanced use of computer software and databases in a Windows environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Smartsheets)
• Prefer the ability to take initiative, work with little supervision and solve problems independently.
• Prefer proficiency in the ERP system (PeopleSoft).

Mandatory Education
HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
Preferred Education
AD: Associate's Degree
