Job description
As the Surgical Services Attendant , you will be asked to assist with patient care and sanitation in the Surgical Services Department under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Performs procedures relating to the basic care of the Surgical Services patient and also technical and ancillary duties related to patient care
• Maintains a clean and safe environment to insure safe and efficient operation of the unit
• Rotating weekend calls from 7am to 7pm
EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE:
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Handling weekend calls from 7am to 7pm (rotating schedule) is required.
Preferred:
• At least one year prior OR Attendant experience or other related healthcare experience
