This is a combined posting for an Associate Patient Services Specialist, Patient Services Specialist and Senior Patient Services Specialist. Under the general supervision of the MGR PATIENT ACCESS/SCHEDULING, performs patient registration and pre-registration of scheduled accounts, verify insurance coverage, benefits, and obtains pre-certification, referral or authorizations as needed per insurance requirements; Participates in the collection of up-front revenue due the facility and provides quality customer service to internal and external customers.
Associate Patient Services Specialist
Required Qualifications:
• 6 months of Customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• General office experience.

Patient Services Specialist
Required Qualifications:
• 2 years of General office experience, which includes public interaction.
• 1 year of patient access experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Data entry, medical terminology and insurance experience.
• Medical setting experience.

Patient Services Specialist, Salary Range:Richland, WA, United States Min: $ 21.92 Max: $33.62
Senior Patient Services Specialist
Required Qualifications:
• 2 years General office experience with public interaction.
• 3 years Patient access experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Courses in keyboarding and office practices.
• Courses in medical terminology.
• Upon hire: Epic Credentialing
• Data entry, medical terminology and insurance experience.
• Medical setting experience.

Senior Patient Services Specialist, Salary Range:Richland, WA, United States Min: $22.97 Max: $35.32
