Associate Laboratory Assistant at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is per-diem and will work 8-hour, Variable shifts.

Under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy and Specimen Processing Supervisor, the Clinical Lab Assistant I performs routine non-technical, manual, and a moderate amount of technical work in the medical laboratory. Maintains laboratory areas and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. Carries out related tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License. Or
• Upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Laboratory, medical office, or hospital experience.
