Job description
Tanner Health is recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist to join West Georgia Anesthesia Associates, a hospital-employed practice serving patients throughout west Georgia and east Alabama.
Position Highlights
• Full-time, hospital-employed position
• Join established team of 14 anesthesiologists and approximately 34 CRNAs
• Primarily Monday–Friday, with typical physician hours of 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Average call requirement of 5–6 days per month
• Call response time of approximately 20 minutes for L&D and 45 minutes for the main OR
• Call rooms available when needed
• Broad surgical case mix, including an established cardiovascular program with a dedicated cardiothoracic anesthesia team, as well as neurosurgery.
Practice Locations
Tanner Medical Center – Carrollton & Tanner Medical Center – Villa Rica
Qualifications
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Eligible for Georgia medical licensure and hospital privileges
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care
