Responsibilities
In this role the Anesthesia Technician will perform the following job duties under the direction of the Director, Manager, Charge Nurse and Anesthesia Care team:
• Responsible for providing a clean, safe, and well-supplied environment for the practice of anesthesia and understands the needs of the patient undergoing anesthesia.

FTE: 1.0
Hours: Variable (4-10's shifts)
Days: Monday-Friday
Location: Leesburg, FL
Qualifications
Education
Required: Post High School Special Training
Preferred: Bachelors or Associates of Health Sciences (Anesthesia Technology, Medical Assisting, etc.)
Licensure
Required: One of the following:
• Florida Paramedic License
• LPN license or
• Certified Anesthesia Technician(Cer.A.T)
• Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer. A.T.T.) from the American Society of technologists and technicians Preferred
• Florida Emergency Medical Assistant (EMT)
• Certified Medical Assistant, CMA)
• Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) with specialty anesthesia training (can be on the job)– required

Certification/Registration
Required: BLS
Preferred: ACLS
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience
Required:
• Technical support and clinical application training and ability for advanced anesthesia machines and adjunct equipment with company technician and hospital biomed department.
• Assist with routine on-call support during off hours to ensure safe patient care (evenings, nights, weekends, holidays)
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
