We are seeking a full-time Adult Psychiatrist to join a behavioral health hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina . This role offers a flexible mix of inpatient and outpatient (IOP/PHP) work , competitive compensation, and strong clinical support—allowing you to focus on high-quality patient care within a collaborative, recovery-focused environment.

• Employment Type: Full-time (independent contractor or employed option available)
• Schedule / Hours: Flexible inpatient and outpatient mix
• Call: Optional paid call and weekend shifts. No mandatory weekend call.
• Patient Volume: Manageable adult caseload
• Location: Winston-Salem, NC
• Practice Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry & Outpatient (IOP/PHP)
• Support / Care Team: Psychiatrists, Therapists, Nursing, Case Management, Support Staff

Responsibilities
• Provide psychiatric care to adult patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and admission assessments
• Develop and lead individualized treatment plans
• Manage daily patient care, documentation, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a recovery-oriented setting

Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Adult / General Psychiatry
• Active or eligible North Carolina medical license
