Position Summary
• The Electrician helps maintain a safe and functional environment for children and staff at KidsPeace’s residential facility by performing electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Full Time
Shift: Monday – Friday, Primarily 8am-4pm with on-call rotation.
• QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an accredited trade school and at least three years of applicable experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to understand and interpret blueprints required.
• Knowledge of various phases of building construction preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities:
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, lighting, fixtures, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and complete assigned electrical work orders.
• Install or modify electrical components as needed for facility repairs, renovations, and improvements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams to complete assigned work.
• Follow applicable electrical codes, safety procedures, and facility requirements while minimizing disruptions to children and staff.
